This is your fiThe young MiniROK Novice Karters Lucas Aldave and Reign Alojado of Mercedes Young Drivers performed a dynamic duo type of performance by placing 1st and 2nd place podiums respectively in Round 6 of the 1st ever Night Race of RokGP Philippine Cup. Round 6 was a breakout performance for Reign Alojado who snatched 2nd place behind the more popular teammate Lucas Aldave who was recovering from an injury caused by an unfortunate racing incident in Round 4 in Clark International Speedway where Lucas had DNS (Did Not Start) as he was rushed to the hospital for treatment then.
Reign Alojado with Kart #26 is a member of the vaunted “Magnifico Quattro” of Team Mercedes whose quartet includes the famous 3-Time Karter of the Year Axel Nocom, heir-apparent Kraige Berdos, and braveheart Lucas Aldave. The race in MiniRok is a mixed grid consisting of Experts and Novices. The duo of experts Axel and Kraige has long dominated the series from Round 1.
Reign Alojado who is considered a newbie among his teammates is not really expected to place in the top 3 positions but he was always ready to push up the pace when it matters especially when their team leader Axel harnessed the team-vaunted teamwork strategy to the max. The cool kid Reign is the epitome of a racer who is willing to do his role with no reservations. For him, racing every round is a learning experience, that his time will come and he will be the next contender to watch out for in the future.
Reign is also a member of the Hybrid Collab Team where most of the racers of the Mercedes Team are also electric kart racers of Drift Motors Speedway, EkartRaceWay, Madkart, and Mandela Karting.
